As a longtime fencer, coach, and promoter of the sport, I created this space to share resources, stories, and opportunities that highlight what makes fencing so extraordinary.

A Little Background

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats in the fencing world—coach, competitor, and even TV producer. What I’ve found most rewarding about being part of this incredible community is the people.

In today’s world, making meaningful connections can be challenging. My time as an assistant coach at the University of New Hampshire showed me how fencing can bring people together, fostering bonds that last a lifetime.

Whether students aimed to compete at the highest level or simply sought a fun and active way to manage the stresses of college life, I saw firsthand how fencing could build resilience, create friendships, and cultivate a sense of belonging.

Helping students grow—from first-timers to national champions—was an amazing experience. But what truly mattered was the supportive community we built along the way.

These experiences inspired me to create fencing.community—a space where fencers of all levels can connect, learn, and thrive.
